Increasing number of insurance companies,
registered in the other EU member states are coming to make business in
Bulgaria. That is what Commission for financial supervision has informed. A
total of 1745 enterprises have declared that they want to develop insurance
activity on the territory of the country, data towards March points out. Each
month at least a single foreign company of the branch redirects to Bulgaria. In
March two companies expressed their intention to work in Bulgaria, while in
February their number was 14. At the same time there is interest from Bulgarian
insurance companies to step on the foreign market. As to the 28th of February
28 companies of the sector have expressed desire to engage in insurance
mediation in other countries of the EU.
