Bulgaria : Globul under Telenor brand

Globul, a Bulgarian mobile operator, acquired by Telenor, will be rebranded in 2014. The name-change is a result of international practices and long-term strategy of the Norwegian carrier. Telenor operates in 14 countries and in all but Malaysia, where it does not have a 100% ownership, it always changed the name of its new subsidiary. Moreover, the company is planning to rebrand Germanos Telecom as well. The Greek telecommunications company OTE sold Globul and Germanos Telecom to Telenor in April 2013. The sale price amounted to €717m.
